FAQ
What agency principals ask before moving a managed portfolio.
Yes. There is no migration fee on any plan. The work can start inside your 14-day free trial, so you see your own portfolio in TenantSync before you pay anything, and if you decide not to subscribe at the end of the trial you owe nothing.
Letman, through our direct importer, and any other lettings platform that can export your data, including Acquaint, Property CRM, PayProp, Arthur Online and Re-Leased, from its standard exports. Excel, Google Sheets and CSV files work too, whatever the layout. If your current system can only print reports, we can work from PDFs.
Properties and units, landlord clients and their management fee rates, tenants, tenancies and lease terms, rent amounts and due days, deposits, balances outstanding, RTB registration numbers where you hold them, certificate expiry dates, signed documents and your contractors.
We bring across what you need to run the portfolio from day one: current rent, deposits and any balance outstanding for each tenancy. Older transaction history stays in your previous system’s export, which we can attach to the property as a document for reference.
No. We work from exports, so nothing changes in your current system. Keep running the agency on it until you have checked the imported portfolio and signed off, then switch over on a date that suits you, ideally just after a rent run rather than in the middle of one.
It depends on the size of the portfolio and the state of the exports, so we agree a go-live date on the scoping call rather than quote one here. Your part is the call, sending the exports and checking the result.
The data belongs to your agency. Your provider processes it for you, and GDPR requires a processor to return or delete personal data at the controller’s choice when the service ends (Article 28(3)(g)), so ask them in writing for a full export. In the meantime, the reports most systems can already print, such as the rent roll, tenancy list and landlord statements, are usually enough for us to start.
Send exports through an encrypted share rather than as email attachments. We use your files only to set up your account and delete our working copies once you sign off. Nobody is contacted during the migration: tenants and landlord clients hear nothing until you choose to invite them to their portals.
Each lease creates its RTB registration record as it is imported, with the 30-day registration deadline and annual renewal derived from the tenancy start date. Where you hold RTB registration numbers we carry them across, so the dashboard shows what is already registered. TenantSync drafts and tracks; you submit through the RTB portal.
Standard is €99/month for up to 100 units, Growth €149/month for up to 200 with the PSRA module and bulk RTB compliance, and Premium €199/month for up to 300. The migration is free on all of them.
